GOAT Receipt: New, Used, and Vintage — The Multi-Condition Marketplace

GOAT and the Condition Grading System

GOAT differentiates itself from StockX by accepting used and vintage sneakers alongside new pairs. This means a GOAT receipt carries condition information that a StockX receipt doesn't: "New," "New No Box," "Used — Very Good," or "Vintage." The condition grade affects both the price paid and the documentation — a "Vintage" pair of Air Jordan 1s from the 1985 original production has a very different story than a current Nike retail release.

What a GOAT Order Confirmation Looks Like

GOAT order confirmations are clean and brand-consistent with their app's dark aesthetic. Your order number and purchase date appear at the top. Product details include the sneaker name, colourway, size (in US), and condition grade. The pricing section shows the item price and GOAT's buyer protection fee (typically 9.5% or a minimum fee, whichever is higher). Shipping method and estimated delivery appear below. For Authenticity Guaranteed items, an authentication reference is included.

GOAT Apparel: Beyond Sneakers

GOAT expanded into apparel, accessories, and even handbags. A GOAT receipt for a Supreme box logo hoodie or a Chanel 2.55 bag looks the same in structure as a sneaker receipt — but the product category affects how authentication works and what the receipt documents. For apparel and accessories, GOAT's verification process is noted in the confirmation for items over a certain value threshold.
