Flight Club Receipt: How Consignment Receipts Differ from Marketplace Receipts
Consignment vs Marketplace: Why It Matters for Receipts
StockX holds items in its own authentication centres. Flight Club, which is owned by GOAT Group, operates partly as a consignment shop — sellers bring items to the store (or ship them), Flight Club authenticates and prices them, and sells directly. This means a Flight Club receipt reads differently from a StockX confirmation. It looks more like a traditional retail receipt, with Flight Club as the named seller, rather than a platform-fee breakdown.
What a Flight Club Confirmation Contains
Flight Club's order confirmations use a dark, premium aesthetic consistent with their website branding. The email opens with their logo and your order number. Product details include the sneaker's full name, colorway (e.g. "Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG — University Blue"), condition, and size in US sizing. The pricing section is cleaner than StockX — it shows item price, shipping fee, and total, without the bid/ask complexity. Your delivery address and estimated delivery window appear below.
In-Store vs Online Flight Club
Flight Club's New York and Los Angeles stores are physical retail destinations. In-store purchases get a paper receipt with a different format from the online confirmation. If you made an in-store purchase and need documentation, note that the format differs slightly — the store address and cashier reference appear on in-store receipts but not online confirmations. The RepsReceipts template covers the online order confirmation format.
