Bulgari (BVLGARI) Receipt: High-Value Jewellery and Watch Purchase Documentation
BVLGARI: Where Roman Heritage Meets Swiss Precision
Founded in Rome in 1884, Bulgari (stylised BVLGARI using the Latin V in place of U) is one of the world's great jewellery houses, now part of LVMH. Their products range from entry-level gold earrings at a few hundred euros to bespoke jewellery and haute horlogerie pieces costing hundreds of thousands. At these price points, purchase documentation is not optional — it's a financial and insurance necessity.
What a BVLGARI Receipt Looks Like
Bulgari purchase documentation is among the most formal of any consumer brand. The BVLGARI wordmark in its distinctive serif appears at the top. The document (which functions more like an invoice than a retail receipt) includes the item name and collection (e.g. "Serpenti Viper 18kt Rose Gold Ring with Pavé Diamonds"), the reference number, metal type, stone specifications, and price. For watches, the movement reference and serial number appear. VAT is broken out clearly. The boutique address (for in-store purchases) or the shipping address and order number (for online orders) complete the document.
BVLGARI Receipts and Insurance
Insuring jewellery requires an independent appraisal and, ideally, the original purchase receipt. For BVLGARI items, the receipt specifies the materials and stones (gold carat, diamond cut and weight), which directly informs the insurance valuation. Without the receipt, an insurer will require a new independent appraisal. Keeping the BVLGARI purchase document is therefore directly tied to being properly covered.
